Interdisciplinary Centre for Road Safety
With the growing numbers of traffic accidents, fatalities and casualties, as well as, in our daily routine, it is imperative and of great importance to have basic life saving skills.
It goes without saying KNOWLEDGE = POWER. Should you know how to attend an injured person, you might save his life, prevent permanent injuries and disabilities by using your knowledge and expertise in first aid.
Whether you work in the private sector, diplomatic corps, nongovernmental organization, the UN or just an individual road user, the increase numbers of road accidents expose all of us to a growing likelihood that we will find ourselves at a scene of an accident. Knowing how to respond and provide first aid can help save you, your loved ones or even strangers on the street life.
We at ICRS believe it’s never too late to learn lifesaving first aid skills. It was decided unequivocally to extend our knowledge in basic first aid and life skills training onto any individual who is interested. Sometimes knowing only where to press on a flesh wound can save one’s life. Application of these skills and knowledge could be tailored as required to address specific industry, field workers or workplace requirements and to address specific risks, hazards and associated injuries
